What do I need to participate in a Plauzzable comedy show?

You’ll need an internet-connected device with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet connection. We recommend logging in a few minutes early to test your setup so you’re ready when the live comedy event starts.

What if I experience technical difficulties on Plauzzable?

If you run into technical issues, please visit our Plauzzable video tutorials for step-by-step help. You can also contact us at helpdesk@plauzzable.com where our support team will be happy to assist.

Can I cast Plauzzable to my TV?

Yes — you can cast Plauzzable to your TV using the Google Chrome browser.

Why isn’t my audio and/or video working?

If your sound or camera isn’t working, try these steps:

Check your audio and video settings on Plauzzable
Make sure the correct microphone, speakers, and camera are selected.
Check your browser permissions
Confirm your browser allows access to your camera and microphone.
Confirm that you are using Google Chrome
Plauzzable is not compatible with Safari.

How do I clear my browser cache (Google Chrome)

Click the three dots in the top-right corner of Chrome
Select Settings → Privacy and Security → Delete browsing data
Only check Cached images and files, then click Delete data

Do I need to download an app?

No. Plauzzable is cloud-based and runs on your browser.

How do I reset my password?

Tap “Reset my password” and check the email address inbox that you used to sign into Plauzzable. It may take a few minutes (or a few hours) to arrive remember to check your spam folder too!

Can you help me to log in with Google, Facebook, or Twitter?

Make sure you’re using the same account you signed up with on the device that you are using to log into Plauzzable.

Signed up with Google? Be signed into that Gmail account.
Signed up with Twitter? Be signed into that Twitter account.
Signed up with Facebook? Be signed into that Facebook account.

Important: These icons only work if you originally created your Plauzzable account with one of them. If you signed up with an email and password, you’ll need to log in using that instead.

Using the Plauzzable website

I accidentally signed up as the wrong account type (fan or comedian).

No worries — this happens! Please email helpdesk@plauzzable.com and we’ll help you update your account.

What is the Plauzzable language and content policy?

Comedy Style Definitions on Plauzzable

Corporate Comedy
No swearing or explicit topics. Suitable for work environments and corporate events.
Clean Comedy
No swearing or sexual content, though light innuendo may occur.
Moderate Comedy
Light swearing with mild adult themes.
Club Comedy
Stronger language and adult topics.
Blue Comedy
Explicit language and adult topics intended for mature audiences.

How do I follow a comedian on Plauzzable?

Visit the Plauzzable Comedian Directory, find a comedian you like, and click the Follow button.

Can comedians earn money on Plauzzable?

Yes, comedians have the ability to earn 80% of their ticket revenue when they host a paid online event on Plauzzable.

My friends think I'm funny. How does someone become a comedian?

If you are interested in becoming a comedian, go for it! Attend an open mic and check out ourblog for tips, career advice, writing insights, marketing strategies, and tech guides for comedians and hosts.

Feedback & Reviews

How do I leave a review on Plauzzable?

After watching a live online comedy event, you’ll be prompted to leave a star rating and written review. Your feedback will appear on the comedian’s public profile.

Why was my feedback removed?

Feedback may be removed if it violates Plauzzable community guidelines. If you believe your feedback was removed by mistake, please contact helpdesk@plauzzable.com.

Registering and scheduling events

How do I register for a live comedy event on Plauzzable?

Browse upcoming shows in the Plauzzable Event Directory, find an event, then click View Details. On the event details page, click Register.

How do I register for a live in-person comedy event?

Browse upcoming events in the Plauzzable In-Person Event Directory,, find an event, then click View Details. If the event requires a ticket site, the link will be shared on the event details page.

Can I rejoin an online event if I leave?

Yes — you can rejoin the event as long as the host has not ended the event and the scheduled end time has not passed.

Camera & Audio Etiquette

Do I have to turn my camera on?

No, but turning your camera on helps comedians see your reactions and creates a better live comedy experience.
